Sky of Swords

Princess Malinda, the unloved daughter of the ruthless King Ambrose, learned early to fight for what was hers. When the king dies suddenly and civil war looms, she must find her way through a maze of schemes and betrayals as rivals contend for the throne. Her only allies are the Blades of the Royal Guard, swordsmen magically bound to defend their wards to the death, but the Blades themselves are in grave danger. The young queen faces a choice that could save her kingdom or destroy it, her Blades and herself.
