Stormrider
Del Rey (2003)
Centuries after the Rigante won their freedom, the Varlish king and his barons hold their lands, and only the clans of the far north remain free. Civil war tears through the south. Gaise Macon, son of the cruel Moidart, rides as a general in the king's army under his Rigante soul name, Stormrider. In the mountains the outlaw Ravenheart waits for the Moidart's forces. When an ancient power rises against all of humanity, the two enemies find that their fates are bound together.

מילה אישית מהקן:
This is the closing book of the Rigante series, and it continues directly from Ravenheart, so it reads best after it. Gemmell set the later Rigante books in a world that echoes the Scottish highlands, with its clans and civil wars.
